I watched Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You both in theaters and at home with my brother. He kept on badmouthing Marshadow because he was convinced that he was evil, even though he got corrupted by the Rainbow Wing. Nothing I said could convince him otherwise. It was that asshole Cross, who like Paul believed that strength is everything, and was jealous that Ho-Oh chose Ash and not him. His sportsmanship sucked eggs, and he caused the Rainbow Wing to be corrupted with his impure intent. This lead to Marshadow going berserk and having the local wild Pokemon attack everyone.

While I agree with Cross's beliefs, and like his Pokemon, I despise his attitude and actions. He's trying too hard to emulate Paul, (who isn't even a bad guy) and yes, I hate him for corrupting Marshadow. I'm with you, Cross is an unlikable douchebag.
