A sprite from the Demon Realm given to Towa by her mother, the Archdemon. Bibi is what people from Sonic's world identify as a Chao, but their biology is unique from them due to the presence of Aura Energy in their evolutionary history as well as - in Bibi's case - the environment of the Demon Realm itself. Bibi uses the power of shapeshifting to meld with objects such as Towa's hat in order to act as her guardian, watching over her and protecting her from any threats she might come across on Planet Eden, at home or anywhere else.

When Sonic and Sora arrive in the Obsidian Caverns region of the Demon Realm, they hear from Oga that Towa's beloved guardian has gone missing and a dangerous monster is lurking in the caves. When the two of them rebelliously make their way deep into the tunnels, Sonic feels a pit open in his stomach as one look at this 'monster' is all it takes for him to realize what's happened...

- Bibi is a Creature of Aur, an animal who's evolution has been altered by the presence of ambient Aura Energy. The name 'Aur' is based on the relation of Sonic's 'Chao' to Chaos Energy, though all sorts of animals or even objects can become the basis for Creatures of Aur - examples besides Chao/sprites include small animals, batteries, vegetables or even fully prepared food items.

- When Bibi was first mutating into his altered form, he resembled a black tar-like liquid before fully developing into the magma state we see now. Were Bibi to be extremely drained or exhausted, he might revert back to this form.
