In the Demon Realm, Oga's reputation precedes him as a powerful warrior and loyal soldier, rumours speak of untold abilities and destructive force that would sow nightmares in the minds of even the most hardened of killers... Yet somehow, the man himself doesn't live up to that impression. In practice Oga is lax, easy going and curious to a fault, intrigued by the cultures and pastimes of other worlds, a far cry from the fearsome images one might conjure upon hearing the tales of his exploits in the army.

After clearing the Eggman forces from the School of Knights, Sonic and Sora travel to the Demon Realm on the trail of stragglers fleeing to what they thought would be a more typical stronghold. When they arrive, the robots have already been totalled and a giant of a man stands guard before the mouth of a winding cave system - Oga. He warns them of dangers within and tells them to head back home before venturing back inside, but Sonic isn't exactly the type to do as he's told.

Trivia:
- Oga's role as the guardian of the Obsidian Caverns in the first arc is somewhat reminiscent of the historical tale of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth - fitting given his species!

- As of now, Oga is 'retired' from the military as per his idol counterpart and has been to Planet Eden proper, but is currently back home and helping Towa with something.
