My boxes are really small and my right column is under my left one. The second time I used it in another custom box it made my other boxes that weren't using the column code real small. Can someone help me?

I'm having a problem with this right now, I wated a text area, then 2 colums (text left-image right) and then another text area.
For some reason, when I put a cctextarea after the columns it overlaps with them and don't know why since I used all the right divisions...
Can anybody tell me what a big noob I am and resolve this?

Okay, I somewhat made it, I don't know how.
After the very first "genericbox" I added a "mods-hh split" and it magically fixed itself!

im having a bit of trouble with this-
I made a custom box and the first floating text box is a full one, below it i put these double boxes, but I want to put another full text box beneath it but whenever i try it turns into a side box?? if there a code to break that? I tried but all that did was close off my first block of code for the background image... I'm going to keep fiddling with it because I had it working earlier,, but any help would be appreciated!

boxrib In reply to boxrib [2016-12-14 07:38:34 +0000 UTC]
never mind I (sorta) fixed it!! i had to close off a vew blocks that I didnt realise were still open and add another
and a break-
it overlaps the double boxes but if I put enough new lines between the different sections I can push it below them- It's definitely not the most ideal fix but I can't seem to figure out a better way

haIoed In reply to RaddWqlf [2016-11-05 00:48:47 +0000 UTC]
Yes, it is possible. I've done something similar to that before. Just mess around with the columns code and try deleting one of the columns.

Ok, so I tried to make it, but I can only figure out how to have a big box on the right with 2 on the left. I can't get it to go the other way around. I'll note you the code since it won't show up here.

uhm, hey, hi!
i'm a random person that just happens to see your comment,,
in case you're still interested,
for a white box around your writing, mayhaps put a content holder like this in the left column, then put your actual content in! :"0
sorry if this was obvious and you already knew it! ;o;

sterlingsilverxx In reply to bloodbiites [2016-07-29 04:54:51 +0000 UTC]
uh sure, how could i go about coding this?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
bloodbiites In reply to sterlingsilverxx [2016-07-29 16:16:12 +0000 UTC]
Okay, first. I'm assuming you only want a picture on one column, and nothing else?
Also, if you have a content holder in your first column, be careful to make sure you close off ALL the codes, by adding enough at the end, before the next 'sealed zone,' code begins. I'm sure you know the basic code for the image url? .

sterlingsilverxx In reply to bloodbiites [2016-07-29 16:17:12 +0000 UTC]
ah no i want a picture where the left column is and the right column to stay the same
i don't really understand the codes unfortunately

bloodbiites In reply to sterlingsilverxx [2016-07-29 16:20:26 +0000 UTC]
Can you take a look at the example I've made on my page? I want to see if that was what you're going for. I can, ofc, edit it to your preferences with little difficulty. I assume you'll want a content holder (mine, right now, is transparent / without a content holder).
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
sterlingsilverxx In reply to bloodbiites [2016-07-29 16:31:17 +0000 UTC]
yeah that's about right, i'd like the content holder if possible
i can provide you the image if you need it?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
bloodbiites In reply to sterlingsilverxx [2016-07-29 16:34:49 +0000 UTC]
Sure, I can go ahead and add it in if you like.
Which content holder would you prefer? You can link me the deviation with the codes if you would like.

sterlingsilverxx In reply to bloodbiites [2016-07-29 16:36:14 +0000 UTC]
here's the image and i guess the content holder on this tutorial is fine
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
bloodbiites In reply to sterlingsilverxx [2016-07-29 16:41:13 +0000 UTC]
I'm gonna have to send the codes to you in a different fashion.
<*div class="mods-column-ll"><*div class="sealed-zone">orig14.deviantart.net/e965/f/2… ">
Okay, so, make sure to remove all of the little '*' so that the codes will work! And if the image doesn't work (with the way I copied / pasted), you can just repaste the url where it is, and it should work. ;v;

Hmm... Oh! I bet I know what the problem is.
<*div class="gr-box gr-genericbox"><*br>
Try putting that at the very end of your background code, right before the content holder codes begin.
