Description My second project for my second semester Studio. The premise was to make a space as a 'home for 5 musical instruments' where you don't literally recreate the instrument, but some aspect of it around a central theme. My theme was the five elements of Earth (Bass Drum), Air (Flute), Water (Cello), Fire (Trumpet) and Ether (Pipe Organ).

Yeah, the background slope is actually put in with two pieces of museum board, because you can't use just one on the hyperbolic parabola. I managed to do just 2 pieces, but some people had to do it in a lot more.

Thanks It's done in museum board, though the base is foam core under the museum board. The 'ipes' for the pipe organ section are wooden dowels that I painted white.
