Help please!! I would really like to learn from your tutorial (especially since everyone seems to be so happy with it in the below comments) but I can't see how to watch it! D:
Still new...and still technologically devoid....jeeesh...
Any ideas on how to watch it?

Thank you so much for this I much prefer these tutorials on how to actually make the brushes yourself. Gives a far better understanding of how they work.

Reminds me of Yugioh Abridged...
Kaiba: OMG, A GIANT ROCK! It's a rock and its giant!
Ishizu: Yes, Kaiba; it's a giant rock. Now look here, I have something else to show you.
Kaiba: Okay but it's gonna be tough to beat that giant rock.
Ishizu: Behold! *another hieroglyph panel appears on display*
Kaiba: OMG, ANOTHER GIANT ROCK!

I learned a lot from this tutorial, especially through trial and error. I kept coming back to your menu screens and comparing/contrasting what you did with what I was trying to do, and I wouldn't have had a clue without this! Thanks so much!

Pretty simple, but effective. I like the details and how you used texture in here. I never thought of trying to use shape dynamics. I'll see if it works for me. Defaintely having to fave this.

Now, with setting the opacity, is that all you do? Blending mode is still set to normal, right (as opposed to screen or multiply)?

Cyzra In reply to Cei-Ellem [2006-02-14 20:57:52 +0000 UTC]
blending modes are normal in this case, however, when using more and more layers you can have a multiply layer with dark shadows.
this rock however was one single layer
