Description
A lego Mini X-Wing made for a speed modeling competition. The challenge was to model the pieces in max 1 hour and another hour to assembling them.Renderer with vray 1.47

That's great, you've got the material for the lego plastic just right. The transparent piece is also very true to life.

looks very good! So did your plan of making this in 2 hours work out?
I found it funny, accidentally stubeled upon your page (the to a DD) and your last submitted Deviation is about LEGO, and it is the same with me (only i made it in illustrator ... i'm going to start 3D max next year or something)

LDraw is a program that allows you to build 3d models, but instead of using your run-of-the-mill boxes, cylinders, tubes, cones, Geospheres etc, LDraw uses Lego bricks from the Lego back catalogue. There are some programs that allow snapping to parts, as if you were building the Lego by hand (and thus restricted as to where you can stick a piece) but on your PC. There are even specific renderers used for the Lego too, including ones that print the "LEGO" writing on each stud on the block.
The best thing is, the program is completely freeware.
