Many people have asked me how certain features work in Gimp, and how to use those features.So...I made a tutorial (finally!) covering all the basic tools and providing in-depth descriptions, examples and answering the simple question: 'How is this tool useful?'

Oh my gosh. Thank you so much for this. I understood some of the basics in GIMP, but at times it just gets confusing and I don't know what I'm doing in it.

Hehe well...I figured I'd cover all the Filters. Unfortunately there are so many of them, I will have to break it up into probably 3 parts. But...here's the first one
I didn't expect to get so much finished so soon, but I had lots of enthusiasm today so I went all out with it
I covered the first 3 categories in the Filters menu.
