Kaiju Month ends with a bang and a roar, as we round off the cavalcade of monsters with Kumonga, King Caesar, Gigan, and two other critters who never became as well known.Here's hoping everyone enjoyed this month of monsters, and be sure to follow along for the next new series of drawings!

Love your takes on Showa era Ghidorah & Gigan, me and my cousins must have watched Godzilla & Anguirus duke it out with those rotten space monsters a hundred times when we were little lol.
Great job on Kumonga & King Caesar too (Caesar looked WAY better in the Showa era with his ruby eyes).
Not the biggest Mothra fan, but good work on her too

I'm not really a Mothra fan either, but I dreaded hearing comments from a bunch of people asking, "Where's Mothra? WHERE'S MOTHRA?!", so I threw him/her in (now I'll just get a bunch of comments saying, "Why do you hate Mothra? WHY, YOU SONUVABITCH?!!").
I also have happy memories of watching 'Godzilla vs Gigan' on VHS; good times (not a great movie, but there's no accounting for fanboy nostalgia sometimes).

LOL XD, I know what ya mean, she's so popular, heaven forbid anyone be sick of seeing her in every other movie (one of my biggest hangups of the Millennium era, Mothra just HAD to be involved in every other story lol). Granted, while I'm not her biggest fan, I respect her place in Toho history & her status as the supernatural member of the Famous Four...Though I'd still rather see a Godzilla vs Rodan movie one of these days over another Godzilla vs Mothra XD
BTW, I dunno if this would send Mothra fans over the edge the same way GINO98 did for Godzilla fans, but what do ya think of the idea of the Shobojin/Elias being turned into full sized human psychics like Miki Saegusa rather than tiny fairies? Ya know, make them into "chosen ones" selected from amongst the Infant Islanders to be Mothra's avatars? Just an idea I've pondered a few times, I mean, the "tiny fairies who talk in unison" gimmick has been done to death at this point, could be a fresh twist on the characters, especially if they actually have personalities of their own lol
Oh yes, me & my cousins & brother watched that movie to death, along with many other Godzilla films that were part of Sci-Fi's "Monsters of the Rising Sun" movie marathon (plus many that weren't). Yeah, now that I'm older i can spot the stock footage pretty easily(thankfully nowhere near as bad as "All Monsters Attack"), BUT, the original scenes are still fun to watch (such a cool tagteam matchup), & ya can't resist the nostalgia factor >;3

I'm pretty sure Mothra and King Ghidorah are two of the most well known kaiju, next to Godzilla.
