Happy Birthday, Alatalamatox.
So here we have Josie and Tom. Like Josie, Tom to is also a cyborg, but in the more extreme of senses (brain in a jar.) He also happens to be the resident expert on all tings related to the subject of cybernetics.
It seems that Josie has stopped in to have Tom do some maintenance on her cyborg arms. Don't ask me how she got into the Network, my excuse it SCIENCE!

This is a beautiful picture, I love the balance and all the cool colors, how the softened background brings the pair forward, their faces and poses make me think we've peeked in during a lull in a polite conversation, and the screens in back are a very nice touch! Clever signature spot is clever.
*smacks self for never drawing Tom's lab* Sorry 'bout that, though I love this interpretation of the place, black and white and blue (all over?) just like Tom's android, prefect. Tom himself looks fantastic. (And bears a slight resemblance to his fellow cyborg? Uh-oh, Tom, somebody's got longer hair than you!) Josie looks like an interesting lady, I'll have to go a-hunting for her in your gallery after this, I do love me some cyborgs.
Durr, I love this, thank you very much for taking the time to draw something for me, you are seriously too cool. I also don't know why exactly I'm not watching you by now, I've only seen the smallest sliver of your OCs and stories and I can already see they're worth following! (:

The conversation I had in my mind was something along the lines of;
TOM: βDo you visit the beach often?β
JOSIE: βNo, I don't. It seems a bit pointless considering I can't swim...β
TOM: βWell, it seems a not inconsiderable amount of sand has found its way inside of your main servos.β
JOSIE: βI... like to go rock climbing on my time off.β
JOSIE: βIt's something of a hobby for me.β
TOM: βThat's an interesting choice of pastime.β
Heh, kind of lame I suppose. But hey, she does love to rock climb. And I'm sure it's been the cause of many a visit to the repair shop. Just the price you pay (literally) to do the things you love right? >_<
The scene started out with the idea that Tom and Josie would be in his main lab. Presumably where he does much of his work. But it occurred to me that such a place would have many delicate experiments, which he certainly wouldn't want disturbed... So then I had this idea that maybe Tom has a room somewhere devoted to servicing other cyborgs, almost like a clinic. And that's what we're seeing here.
