I think this drawing would be a brilliant massive back tattoo, I heartily recommend life drawing for any aspiring animator, one trick in life drawing is to ignore the color of the hair and shade it according to the way the light hits it to make a more balanced work, you might also notice that the drawing is made of straight lines as when you draw in curves its very difficult to get an accurate angle.
