Painted at the request of my Mum (who is now the owner of this painting) from a photo she had taken of her two adopted 'children', Taffy and Paddy They're so funny

I learnt a lot while doing this painting - firstly, the benefit of using the 'right' brush! I bought myself an angled brush and found the fur so much easier to paint with it! So now I'm planning on investing in more shaped brushes rather than just sticking to my flat and round set. I also thought more about paint transparency, underpainting and colours - I used purple for Paddy and red for Taffy, which was a lot of fun to do.
