Collab with Jen . She sent me the sketch in awesome neon-orange gel-pen and I had a ballin' time coloring and inking it.Until I pulled out the paint, then it turned into mush. D:
And the scanner didn't seem to like it very much, either. Boo hoo.
Eh. Consider it raped.

I think the paint worked pretty well with this. I like how it's kinda crumpled looking at the bottom. The text thats scattered around is awesome too.

Lol yeah the crumpled effect is from a rough layer of paint and then a smooth layer on top. Surprisingly, the paper didn't buckle.

Yeah photoshop fixes a lot of art problems, but unfortunately not all of them. And it can be time-consuming, too. @_@

I don't know WHAT you're talking about, I think it looks lovely. Bruises on Jak's skin are a bit blotchy, but that's a minor critique at best. For some reason, I adore the hearts on Daxter's boxers. The colors on Jak's hair and Dax's fur looks especially wintastic.
