Description I loved the scene where Burnham tells Culber that she can handle Stamets' arrogance - and he just goes "Yeah - show me how" - I think that was the moment I fell in love with the character of Dr. Culber.

He was so rude to Culber in this scene! I guess that's one of many times that Culber remembered after his resurrection where he asked himself why he had loved Stamets …

Heh. That was an amusing moment.Β Β
I like your continued experiments in colorful lighting! Lovely. You captured them so well again and Culber's starfleet badge has such a convincing mirror texture.Β

That was the moment I fell in love with Culber *sigh*
Yeah, I'm happy that I became braver and add some other colours to the skin colours (still having you as my role model on my mind's eye). I'm often thinking about your experiment with the colours from the snake (it was a snake, wasn't it?) It'sΒ like using a limited colour palette an I'm thinking bout trying something like this myself.Β

When that happened, I didn't know yet that Culber and Stamets were together, so it was quite a hit in retrospect.

Since I was glued to any even slightly AnthonyRapp-shaped piece of information, I already knew it then - and I so loved Culber's knowing smile Β

I love it! But there only seem to be ppl out there who either love it or completely detest it. The series drove a sharp blade through the fandom.

I'm dwelling in the first 9 episodes at the moment, I so loved them!

My mom's been watching them over and over for a dose of Lorca.Β  I also have a new mixture of respect and sorrow for Anthony Rapp after learning that he was the one who exposed Kevin Spacey.

Anthony Rapp is an utter hero! I was so terrified for him after the exposure. He went silent for about a month, and when he came back on twitter, he started to retweet some of the ugly stuff people called him. The first night he did this I was crying for hours, the second night we fans started to go after the ppl who called him such nasty names. Ever since then he comes up from time to time with a "here's another one", when he gets an ugly tweet, so we can act. That't the only thing we fans can do for him, and we do it with love!

Now I feel worse for him, and also confused.Β  Why is Anthony Rapp getting attacked for bringing a molester to justice?

Dahkur In reply to suburbantimewaster [2018-03-25 10:57:20 +0000 UTC]

Cause there are always ppl who hate him for bringing Spacey down, for ruining the "house of Cards" series (back then it wasn't sure if it would be cancelled after Spacey's sacking), accusing him of only having done this for getting attention. The tweets really were so mean, it was unbelievable. I have no idea I would have managed that, and he went through this verbal abuse for over a month with his head held high.
People can be horrible, especially when they hide behind a keyboard and a fake account name.

First this whole movement was making me lose faith in men.Β  Now it's just making me lose faith in the entire human race.

It's only some men. Look at such lovelies as Anthony Rapp or Wilson Cruz - or for straight men, my hubby is an absolute wonderful example of his gender.
