Description
At the moment I'm sketching for one of those "who's your fav xyz" Star Trek challenges over on Twitter.Since I don't want to flood my account here with crosshatch sketches I upload them in 5ers.
These were my answers to the questions "Fav Admiral?"; "Kirk or Spock?"; "Fav Villain?"; "Fav Intro?"; "Fav Space Pet?" (and I know, that Rip is no space pet at all, but I jumped at the opportunity to try to sketch the tardigrade)

I love Spock's pose and the poses of the characters in these have a lot movement. Delightful. ^^

I was happy to find some good reference pics. - and that I finally am getting better in working with low resolution references. (that's one thing that I really feel like I've improved on.)

I have to confess, I don't really remember the intro you picked or Rip. I agree with you about preferring Spock to Kirk, a character that I've already said will always have a special place in my heart, and that Dukat is awesome, yet a WatchMojo list put him at #6 for best Star Trek villains. He's the inspiration for one of my truly original characters.

Ha! Whatever that list is, it's wrong! Dukat definitely is the best ST villain ever. None was ever so layered like he was.
Rip is the tardigrade, that worked the sporedrive on the Discovery, before Stamets sacrificed himself to save Rip's life (and to prevent Culber from leaving him). The intro is the Discovery intro. I prefer the visuals over the typical ship-planet-nebula.

In all reality, WatchMojo tends to go by what's mainstream rather than what's good. They had a list of top 10 mysterious TV characters and Garak didn't even get an honorable mention. Sometimes they can be right, such as when they did a top ten list of unseen characters and I definitely agree with who they picked for number one.
Actually, I thought favorite intro meant favorite teaser before the opening credits. My bad.
