Plot:
-The anomaly, now evolved into SpaceGodzilla, seeks to subjugate the Earth, and has a mysterious connection to the Vortaak.

  The once beautiful Fukuoka has been transformed into an alien world by the newly evolved SpaceGodzilla. He looms over the crystal-covered city, levitating towards the imprisoned Godzilla Junior. GDF choppers surround the area to show the HQ footage of the new Kaiju. Admiral Gondo, Commander Taguchi, and Mikami could only watch in horror and bewilderment at the alien entity.

Ryoji: What in God's name is that?

As SpaceGodzilla towers over Junior, he hears Gabara shrilling and charging wildly. Without flinching, SpaceGodzilla simply flexes one of his hands, and Gabara is suddenly hovering in the sky. He flexes his other hands, impaling the toad-like Kaiju through his hands and feet with crystal spears. The crucified Gabara squeals for dear life as he tries to struggle free. Suddenly, SpaceGodzilla's shoulder spikes and back spikes glow and cackle with energy. He opens his mouth wide, red energy forming. Red rings of energy form in front of his mouth, taking aim at Gabara. In seconds, a powerful red lightning-like blast fires from his mouth, striking Gabara in the mouth and burning through the back of his head. He goes down, effectively bisecting the helpless beast in half, toxic blood spraying everywhere. Shinichi and Miho take cover, knowing how dangerous Gabara's blood is. Masato, Natsumi, and Konosuke arrive in time to see the chaos unfold, jumping at the sight of SpaceGodzilla.

Masato: What the hell is that thing?
Konosuke: I didn't know Godzilla had an ugly brother.
Natsumi: I hope MOGUERA gets here in time. Godzilla alone might not be enough...

Godzilla suddenly makes himself known in the scenery, roaring out to his new cosmic enemy. SpaceGodzilla turns to face him, making a glass-like sound as if to cackle before flying at full speed. He summons masses of crystals and throws them at Godzilla like missiles. Some impale the king, and he shoots a few down. As he recovers from this sudden attack, SpaceGodzilla swoops down with a powerful kick to the face. As he continues to stomp down on him, Godzilla bites down on his foot, throwing him down then stomping him down. Godzilla suddenly feels himself floating; SpaceGodzilla has caught him in a Gravity Tornado, and he throws him into some skyscrapers effortlessly. Masato then notices Shinichi and Miho hiding in the chaos near Junior.

Masato: Guys, Shinichi and Miho are down there... we have to help them!
Konosuke: Are you insane? We'll die if we do.
Natsumi: They'll die if we don't!

They take the risk to go and help the two. Recovering from his sling, Godzilla fires his atomic breath, but SpaceGodzilla deflects it with a glass-like energy shield protecting his front. As soon as he drops the shield, the Crystal Sultan unleashes his Corona Beam, which stuns Godzilla. SpaceGodzilla prepares another blast, but is suddenly hit in the back by rockets. They all turn to see MOGUERA arrive. MOGUERA fires blasts from its eyes to irritate SpaceGodzilla. Godzilla gets up and watches the new arrival. While he figures the mecha could be a challenge for him, the Monster King decides to focus on SpaceGodzilla, who is clearly a bigger threat to him right now.

Russian 1: Godzilla's going to help us.
Russian 2: Time to put MOGUERA to the test.

Godzilla and MOGUERA tag team SpaceGodzilla. MOGUERA fires lasers from two of its arms and missiles from its other arms. SpaceGodzilla fires his Corona Beam, but MOGUERA absorbs it to charge a cannon installed in his chest. The blast is strong enough to send SpaceGodzilla flying. He recovers and thrusts his barbed tail at MOGUERA, severing one of its arms. As he lunges, MOGUERA responds with a drill to the face. Godzilla sneaks behind and grabs SpaceGodzilla's tail throwing him around like a rag doll. As the fight presses on, Masato and his team help Shinichi and Miho out of the rubble. They are forced to leave Junior where he is, even as he begins to regain consciousness. Losing his patience, SpaceGodzilla creates a powerful storm of crystals, raining it down on his enemies. This unknowingly frees Junior from his cage. A shard flies through Natsumi's arm. She yells in pain and passes out from shock. Masato grabs her and carries her out. However, they trip and fall, but Masato uses his body as a shield to protect her, getting a few cuts and bruises. He looks up as SpaceGodzilla notices them, almost grinning. As he leans down preparing a blast, a small burst of atomic energy hits him in the face. SpaceGodzilla turns to see Junior rushing to protect his human friends. Despite his courage, he is overpowered as SpaceGodzilla telekinetically starts choking him. The crew in MOGUERA then receives a transmission from Mikami.

Keiko: GDF Command to MOGUERA, we're detecting a huge surge of energy from the Fukuoka Tower. The space monster is using it to keep his energy reserves strong. Take down the tower, and it should weaken.
Russian 1: Roger that.

MOGUERA concentrates its power on the Fukuoka Tower, trying to bring it down. SpaceGodzilla tries to protect it with a cage of crystals. Godzilla and Junior then combine their atomic breaths to destroy the tower. SpaceGodzilla suddenly feels weaker. The Gojirans then fire their blasts at SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals, destroying them, and MOGUERA fires its chest cannon through SpaceGodzilla's chest. Despite these severe wounds, he is still alive. Realizing he can't win, SpaceGodzilla summons a portal. Before he flies through it, he unleashes a particularly powerful burst of energy, which knocks Godzilla back. He feels alien energy surging through him. Godzilla fires his atomic breath, but SpaceGodzilla retreats through the portal, and it closes. Godzilla, Junior, and MOGUERA look on, as do the humans. They may have won this battle, but they know SpaceGodzilla will likely return once it's healed up.

On the Vortaak mothership, Lord Ghidrah is bating Velicia, having discovered that she had summoned this threat without his approval. The other Vortaak and aliens watch on, knowing this may happen to them if they don't obey their new master.

Lord Ghidrah: I ordered you to await my command! Instead, your self-pride and impatience led to our plan being delayed further!
Velicia: My intentions were pure, my Lord. I only wanted to rid the Earth of Godzilla!

The golden entity stomps down on the Vortaak queen furiously.

Lord Ghidrah: No one executes the final order but myself! Do you understand me?! DO YOU?!?
Velicia: Master, I will make things right for you! I swear! SpaceGodzilla's last attack will set your plan back on track.

Ghidrah gets off of Velicia and holds her by her throat.

Lord Ghidrah: Explain, Vortaak. Quickly.

  Back on Earth, MOGUERA has been taken to GDF for repairs, and its pilots have been promoted. Natsumi is in sick bay being treated, her arm bandaged up. Masato walks in to check on her, sitting beside her on the bed.

Masato: How are you feeling?
Natsumi: Better, now that you're here. You?
Masato: I'll be fine. The Godzillas have returned to the sea. MOGUERA is undergoing repairs. We owe these guys.
Natsumi: What about Shinichi and Miho?
Masato: A little shaken up, but they'll live.
Natsumi: Good to hear. Thanks for saving me again. How long have we known each other?
Masato: Why do you ask?

He notices tears running down her eyes and starts to show concern.

Natsumi: I'm tired of closing myself from others, Masato. I'm going to open myself up more, and I'll start with you.
Masato: Natsumi, what are you saying?
Natsumi: I'm saying I love you, Masato!
Masato: I-I feel the same way for you. I love you, Natsumi, more than anything.

  Without a moment's pause, Masato and Natsumi lean in for a passionate kiss. This time, there is no one or nothing to interrupt them as they take the next step in their relationship. They pull away for a moment, and they share an even deeper kiss, hugging. Natsumi suddenly flinches when Masato touches her arm.

Natsumi: Ow!
Masato: I'm sorry. I should let you rest. I'll take it from here.
Natsumi: Thank you.

He leaves her to rest and heal in the sick bay. Since he was hired to be her bodyguard, Masato had felt a slight attraction for Natsumi. Natsumi felt similarly for Masato, no matter how much she wanted to deny it. Now, they both know it is valid and that they no longer need to hide their love for one another. Deep in the sea, Godzilla continues to glow. Soon, though, the sea around him starts boiling, and his spines turn from blue to red. Elsewhere, in California, it's business as usual for a private beach. People are splashing about or basking in the sun. Suddenly, the water in the ocean begins to foam and turn blood red. The tourists see something red crawling from the water, not sure what to make of it. A strand of this soon reaches one man's foot and burrows in. The man starts choking and foaming from the mouth, then he dies in an instant. His flesh is then dissolved in seconds, leaving only a skeleton picked clean. The tourists flee in terror, but one by one, they fall as a thick cloud suffocates most of them to death. The red essence covers the corpses, proceeding to devour what it has caught.
