Taken at a butterfly exhibit -so tame it crawled onto my finger
Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F14, 1/250, ISO 200) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens + a diffused MT-24EX.

let me start by saying this is a vary great macro photo, you obviously know how to get what you want in focus and do so beautifully within this photo. its quite clear and shows great depth between the body of the butterfly from the head and eyes to the wings. i love how detailed you were able to get within the eye and feelers and how clean the colors came out. however without you telling me i would not have guessed this was a butterfly. still though this is a great photo that interests my eye even without at first knowing what the subject was.

Awwww what a sweetie pie ^^ I love how you captured the details on the proboscis! My character Reta has a proboscis too, but I never had good reference for them.
