Description
While inspecting my solitary bee house I thought some of them might hatch since it was 17C, so I had the camera ready.Tech Specs: Canon 70D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (about 3.5x) + a diffused MT-24EX (both flash heads on the Canon flash mount). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held.

Even more amazing when you realize that they make decisions based on what they see, smell, etc. I don't know if they are self aware, but they do seem to think and reason.
