There's actually a poem on that.
By Dickens I think...

Meh, whatever.
Was still cool and very relevant.
I just wish the superhero/heroine dynamic would pull off a more balanced array, y'know?
The guys are pretty even, but all the chicks are busty super-model types in skin tight spandex.
Can't we have some NORMAL superchicks for once?

We've had a few normal superchicks. Supergirl was one, right?

Though, I'm going to be getting a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration first, so it might be awhile before we meet up outside Marvel Headquarters.

I might have to meet up with you later. I'm going to be at DC and then later shift to Marvel. Afterwards, I'll try to start my own series of comics.

Nice.
When I write a story, I always imagine the actions and stuff in my head, like I'm making a movie with pencil and paper instead of cameras and actors.
How about you?

Dahila-Mockery In reply to 0ArmoredSoul0 [2009-02-18 23:06:32 +0000 UTC]

Well with me, I first try to thing of the basic plot and go with it. The action I sometimes plan out and with writting it, I'll still working on that slightly. I tried to reflect the emotions within the story too.

My main problem is finding an ending.
My action scenes aren't too bad, but they do tend to leave more to the imagination of the reader than most.
I'm in my element when portraying emotion.

Yeah, working with another person's character really helps one refine the literary talents.
You have to keep true to the character, or give a very good reason for a change in the character, and that's very hard to pull off properly.
Kind of a literary work out.
^^

Well, it's actually not all that bad, but only if you stick to original series.
The Alien Force stuff really sucks.
I just like the concept of an alien watch that allows the wearer to turn into a bunch of cool alien heroes.
Just too cool.

0ArmoredSoul0 In reply to Dahila-Mockery [2009-02-24 05:01:33 +0000 UTC]

Fan fictions, but I personally prefer the original series over the new one.
The new one really ticks me off, mainly because they screwed up the Omnitrix and the new aliens REALLY piss me off.

Dahila-Mockery In reply to 0ArmoredSoul0 [2009-02-24 22:49:35 +0000 UTC]

Why do they piss you off?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

0ArmoredSoul0 In reply to Dahila-Mockery [2009-02-26 01:39:32 +0000 UTC]

They're basically rip-offs of the original aliens' powers in newer, dumber looking packages.
They also have EXTREMELY annoying voices that give me a headache.
Sorry, I just really don't like them.
AT ALL.
I could have dealt with it if the new aliens had simply been added to the original ten (that would have made a lot more sense to begin with, as the Omnitrix was supposed to unlock new aliens as Ben grew up and learned more about the alien watch), but not only did they not bring back the original ten, but I have yet to discover an actual reasoning behind why Ben cannot access the original ten in the first place.
Plot holes bug me.
