What Snoke has done is, IMO, comparable to both a cult leader AND a pedophile, if as I suspect, this interference goes all the way into childhood.

That's actually kind of sad, I can imagine Snoke punishing Kylo by getting inside his head and messing it up, probably causing him pain until he was so terrified of Snoke doing that to him that he'd do anything to avoid it.
