Description
I want to learn more about conveying emotion, mood and story... so I did some panels for practice.Also to step up my line-art game.
Stuff is all random situations from my Emion project (because I've obviously been writing too damn much lately XD)
For those that are interested;
1. Sad little Sato. Grew up in a bad neighbourhood. Got beat up regularly as a kid.
2. Dangerous esper and mad scientist working together. Prepare for trouble :')
3. Just Rena creeping people out for fun XD
4. Aiden up to no good again
5. Something died. And Masaru needs MOAR coffee.
6. Anima doing creepy shit.

Okay, I'm really intrigued. Do you have a place where you upload this as a comic? And if not, would you be interested in checking out my Patreon where I give mini comic-making tips and tutorials?

In all honesty... I don't do patreon for the simple reason that I've never been a fan of the whole subscription and "paying for something unknown" thing.
As for the story... it's not a comic.
It's a novel I'm writing. These panels were just some experimentation for what perhaps some day might be, but it's a massive story so I'm not planning to make a comic out of it anytime soon.

I'm not sure I asked this before, but if I did, I clearly don't remember and apologize to ask again.
I'm very curious about your story Emion (sorry if I misspelled it) and I don't know why I thought that was the young boys name when it's clearly Sato. Where can I find this story?
Does it have a lot of swearing? I can only tolerate so much, if none at all. Sorry.
Anyway, that's all. And have you heard of webtoons? Ever thought making your comic on there? Or just story writing? Which is great. I love reading.

I'm still in the process of writing the story and I write in my native language (Dutch) so it might be quite a while before it's done and translated.
As for the name and details. The name of the main character is Sato. The world name is Emion. A lot of people tend to confuse them somehow ^^ As for swearing... it does have some, but not excessively. I felt however that it was unrealistic to have some characters never swear, considering their background and the environment they grew up in. As for webtoons... I'm not planning to make a comic anytime soon (at least not until I do have the needed talent -- and the novel is my main focus anyway) but thanks for the advice anyway.

Well, since it is your story they can do whatever you wish, and if they swear then they swear. I'm not saying nor suggesting they shouldn't at all. I mean, I watch anime that says "d*mn(it)","hell","Son of a B*tch","*sshole",and etc. The only word I can stand without is the infernal "F".
So yes, your story, your rules. I apologize for trying to sound like I'm restricting you or something.

Oh... I get the swearing thing. Some people just dislike it.
But what many people fail to realize about stories is that the way a character behaves and thinks doesn't match the way a writer is. A realistic character is a product of the environment that it's placed in. A professor using formal language is to be expected, but a lower class criminal punk doing the same thing would be hard to believe. As a writer I tend to write from the minds of the characters. Some of them are intelligent en use formal language. Some of them are aggressive punks and they tend to swear.

That is true facts. I see your point of view. Unfortunately at times my mind is very askew(?) and I don't see the bigger picture.
I greatly apologize if I offended you and also thank you for opening my eyes a bit more. Honest truth.

He used to be human, got captured and was submitted to torture before his mind eventually collapsed on itself and he became what he is now. Needless to say, it left its marks. Things like past experiences, near immortality and a non-human body aren't easy to process for the mind. He's a confused soul.

The powers aren't traditional magic with spells and everything, but more like pyschic powers that do have some in-world scientific basis. But as goes with the lore, they do have quite the extensive background as well XD

That sounds a bit like my "magic" system! It's such that it's not really even magic, but I still call it that because the characters consider it to be magic, although it's really more like mutants from X-men, where each "Witch" has one specific power. Although where it differs from X-men is that instead of being a specialized one trick pony, they try to use their power in creative ways! Ohhh, like one character, whose power allows her to control water vapour (But that's it, ahaha she aint no Katara 
Oh, sorry, I started ranting about my book, ahaha. From what I've heard about the lore of your book though, I think it's cool! ^_^
