Yay, I finished it!
This is a gift for ^mangapunksai , Satan from her comic. ...okay, so it’s not so great. My anatomy’s been terrible of late and I’ve been tired and had little concentration for things like backgrounds, and my anime is very rusty.... but I’m pretty happy with this and I hope she likes it.
I hope I didn't mess his design up. ...not much more to say right about now.
I decided she got a lot of ‘cute’ fan art of Satan, so I thought I’d give her one of him being all angry and indignant. I was going for the, “You can’t talk to me like that!” look. Heh.Image by me, the character belongs to ^ mangapunksai , done with pen and ink, colored in Photoshop. ...yeah... my titles suck....

i think you did jsut fine on the anatomy. i love the shine on the hair and clothing and your anime style is just fine. i should know since im pretty very familiar with different anime styles. in fact i draw anime 95% of the time as i always tell people hee hee. but yeah, the background isnt that great but im not always big on backgrounds either unless i think it takes away from the picutre it self. good job.

Nice colouring job, especially with his skin and hair. :d His right hand looks a little odd, though. His fingers go in a different direction than his palm. . . @w@;; Otherwise we like his expression and outfit, they're pretty neat. And his hair. So shiny. . . .

I like this one, you captured how I assumed he would be, and did a GREAT job, so less insulting your work.

I love your use of red in this. The linear is really lovely by having that red tint to it, otherwise I think you would loose a lot of the detail in the shirt and hair, and it wouldn't look nearly as sharp with the traditional black.
I also love how a lot of the white has red highlights around them, giving it a glowy appearance that I would have never thought to do.
The hair is just stunning, it really has that shine and texture to it that it would have.
The bg is great too, the design is strong, and leads in and away from the figure, but the red draws you back into the image. It also gives it that punch with the dramatic red and green striking against one another. I really love how you darkened the colours as well, it seems to match the character.
I think the pose is interesting, and also really catches your eye, even if you don't like the anatomy, it's anime, so if anything it's more accurate because anime is usually off (nobody has boobs that big, well at least not naturally)

I like it alot! The composition makes it look like a still from a movie or something, it gives it a sweeping sense of movement. You didn't a great job on his design

The skin tones look a bit muddy, and you've already mentioned the backround, but otherwise it looks great. The pants look like those shiny vinyl pants

This expression works well ^^ I didn't notice the anatomy problems until I read your comment about it, but if it's to work... ^^
I can see the blacks and reds tend to make me know why he's called Satan. The lighting effects managed to grab me, adding that little bit more vibrant color into the pic here. Some nice experimentations with the background, although a bit dark (but I'm sure that's intended ^^) has managed to work well too.
