Description My visual tribute to Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter.

Whether you liked him or not, you had to admire his passion. Passion for wildlife. Passion for his family. He will truly be missed.

Media: Pencil sketch, lineart in Flash, coloring in Flash
Time: I lost track. It took me all week to clean up off and on and Risa kept bugging me while I worked. . . Probably a good 6 hours or more.

aww I remember it was like my BIGGEST dream ever to meet him and then when he died I spent forever in my room crying no one really saw it coming...after all those years he kinda gained this feeling of immortality and then for him to go so suddenly...it was a big shock.

I like the way you've done it. I mean, it's not a way Steve'd ever have tackled a real croc, but the message comes through. I'm gonna miss the guy, and I think a solid six hours of work devoted entirely to his memory means you will too.

But, really, I gotta say this. The look on the croc's face. It totally looks like he's thinkin':
"Oh, sonuva...!"

Not the first time you've taken the bait, big guy? ^_^

Thank you for that long, well-thought out response.

You're right, I certainly will not forget Steve Irwin. Even if I hadn't spent 6+ hours on this piece.

I think that's a very nice memorial picture for the late Steve Irwin. Yes, wether you do or do not like him, his awe and passion for wildlife is, nonetheless, emence. Huh, I feel oddly philosophical for some reason!

Nice job, your humans are definitely improving! I still think you could use less curvy lines on his arms/legs.
