Some guys just can't take a hint , it seems. Nor can they resist explaining to someone with degrees in science and engineering (and a Ph.D. in the latter) how wind works.

I feel conflicted.Β I just watched a Youtube video about the title villain of the Marvel Studios Captain Marvel assaulting a man and stealing his property for being obnoxious.Β So it feels hypocritical to want to see Dr. Handey take an elbow to the gut.
But on the other hand, I want to see him take an elbow to the gut.

I was debating this with friends, they all agree - Duster's response, while seemingly more pants darkening, is completely controlled.Β Magician is in no real danger, and is a supervillain with the means to protect himself.Β As opposed to "stronger than the Hulk" attacking a civilian and stealing from him.
I can now enjoy this series guilt free.

We all seem to invest a lot in the morality of made-up people.

When we define someone as a hero, there are certain standards they have to uphold.Β In a comedic piece, this can be ignored, but in a movie that spent twice its budget on advertising, those expectations apply.
Sorry to get all philosophical, but I saw this literally moments after the other thing, and had to reconcile the issue, for my own sense of morality.

I was just teasing, and you're right, and it makes sense. Even in a comedic piece like this it matters. For instance, I first had Duster with more of an evil grin--same smile, but her brows in an "angry" mode. I thought that looked too mean for her. So I changed it, lightening her expression, and I think it helps the piece.
