Update concerning the download mirrors: Since MegaUpload is offline now, I now host the files on MediaFire. Only the latest version, for now.UPDATE: v0.1.1.1
Got rid of some bugs that sneaked in with the picture-in-picture function and worked out some more issues with the kind help of .

Install instructions
Download the .rar-Archive and extract the folder DID-Game into whatever directory you'd like. In the extracted folder you'll find a readme file, the actual .jar file, the game's icon and the graphics folder. If you start the game from within the archive it won't work properly, so be sure to actually extract it!
Don't delete, rename or move the files out of the folder! Create a desktop shortcut of the DID-Game.jar-file if you want, but don't move around the actual files!
To play, open DID-Game_v0110.jar
You should also download the latest Java-version for the game to run properly: [link]

Take a look at the readme. If the bug you've encountered isn't listed under "Known Issues" or "FaQ" write a comment on this deviation page, including what's your OS and a detailed description of the bug you encountered and what you did to make it happen, if you can recreate it or if it's just random.

You'll have to download WinRAR or 7Zip to open a rar archive. Sumply google one of those, download and install.

Umm, I find a folder called "graphics," the jar. file, the icon and the "readme" file, but not any shortcut. Am I doing anything wrong?

I've already tried, but I only find two folders there. One says "META-INF" and contains nothing but an NF file of the same name. The other is called "didgame" and contains lots of CLASS files. There is yet another folder called "graphics" which is filled with images. No way to start the game...

Now that is...interesting, to say the least. But it looks to me like you somehow unpacked the .jar file's contents. Did the .jar simply turn into folders?

The usual suspects: Did you install the latest java version?
If so, try this: right click on the .jar -> open with -> Select standard program... -> search...
Then go to the directory where you installed Java (might look like this: "C:\program files\Java\jre6\" and there go to the folder "bin" and and select "javaw".

I haven't installed that java you mentioned. But I didn't think that just not doing that would not even let me find something as simple as an exe. file... I'll try it now.

For a .jar file to work you need a runtime environment, just like you need the latest DOTNet framework for some .exe-files. Though I too am surprised that the .jar turns into an archive if you don't have one installed.

Well, I have a feeling there should be images in the boxes on the left when I have subdued her. Instead, they are just blank... I've been guessing what I've been using. Also, there is no picture. This might just be because it's a demo, but I felt like mentioning that appart from the picture of the bag, I get no further images of the happenings occuring in any way.
And that's as far as the demo go. I sugest that before you go any further you work out the bugs so far and give another demo on it later. If that has less critical bugs, you can start working on the getting away part and the dungeon.
I am really looking forward to the completed game. It's probably gonna take a while, I know. Months, maybe years. But I'll be waiting for it. So don't stop working on it!

When I tried to oppen the file with "java" in the same folder just now I had the same problem. Apparently my system selected javaw by itself, yours didn't. I'm working with windows, btw, so I don't know if this will work on a Mac.

Sorry, but there won't be different damsels. As for poses, I'm not sure yet which pose I'll put her in in the dungeon part, but it's probably just gonna be one, too. If I'm extremely motivated I might add in a hogtie or something like that. But the amount of work would double even if I were to add a second pose. And then I'd have to code the entire thing...
As for clothes...well, you'l be able to strip her.

Yeah, it's supposed for each item to be used only once. Don't forget this is just a demo and this is the part where you have to tie the girl on the spot. You can't carry unlimited rope in your bag. (I'll admit that one taperoll for each hands, feet, gag etc. is unrealistic, but I had to balance the whole thing out).
In the final version there'll be a time limit for this part and each material will take a different time to apply. (for example rope is the one that takes the longest, therefore it is the most secure). In the following driving section the damsel has a chance of escape. the more secure the bindings are, the longer it takes her to break them. You'll have to check up on her and re-fasten the restraints from time to time. All that with the cops following you.
