Description
Update concerning the download mirrors: Since MegaUpload is offline now, I now host the files on MediaFire. Only the latest version, for now.UPDATE: v0.1.1.1
Got rid of some bugs that sneaked in with the picture-in-picture function and worked out some more issues with the kind help of .
Changelog: [link]
Troubleshooting: [link]
Download Mirror: [link] (Mediafire, please only use this if the DA download doesn't work for whatever reason.)
Install instructions
Download the .rar-Archive and extract the folder DID-Game into whatever directory you'd like. In the extracted folder you'll find a readme file, the actual .jar file, the game's icon and the graphics folder. If you start the game from within the archive it won't work properly, so be sure to actually extract it!
Don't delete, rename or move the files out of the folder! Create a desktop shortcut of the DID-Game.jar-file if you want, but don't move around the actual files!
To play, open DID-Game_v0110.jar
You should also download the latest Java-version for the game to run properly: [link]
If you encounter bugs
Take a look at the readme. If the bug you've encountered isn't listed under "Known Issues" or "FaQ" write a comment on this deviation page, including what's your OS and a detailed description of the bug you encountered and what you did to make it happen, if you can recreate it or if it's just random.

Have you installed winRAR or 7Zip? Try using right-click - >"open with" and then choose one of those.

Thanks! It'll take a while to be completed, this isn't even half of what I've planned.

Hmmm....I don't suppose you moved the .jar file out of the folder? The graphics folder needs to be in the same directory as the DID-game.jar.

Hmm, I didn't think you'd moved it anyway, but I had to rule out the possibility. I can think of one thing that might screw up the image paths the game uses, I'll put up a little upgrade this weekend, but I can't promise anything...

My screen is too small to show the bottom of the game, hopefully there's nothing down there I'm missing.

Hehe...yeah, I designed it all on my screen, which is Full HD, so it might be a tad too big...
if you can see Sarah you're not missing anything, there's nothing in the UI down below the Untie Button

Well it's still the demo stage, so no worries there. Glad to know from the creator that there's ntohing there worth seeing...or is there?
As an aside, there doesn't seem to be a difference between hands bound or not if you bind the chest. Granted, this is because her hands are behind and you can't see them. Any plans on this, such as a rear view or the captive being able to escape if you forget to tie them?
Also, good on you putting in a rope gag, was quite surprised by that one. Again it may be because it's a demo, but you can apply the gag to any body part and it appears to be used. Would be interesting though to bind the hands with the ballgag and use a rope gag

I'm thinking about a picture-in-picture view of her hands when you tie them. I'll definately add "health" to her bindings, so depending on the materials and amount of restraints she might escape later or earlier during driving unless you check up on her and re-fasten the bindings.
As for the gags being used on other body parts - it's known and being worked on, shouldn't be too much of a trick.

In that case, is the 5 items limit a demo only thing? Because if X material is best, why not just always take that? For example, will there be a money system where the better binding material costs more? Or better binding material takes up more inventory space?

Dani1202 In reply to mcsproot [2011-08-14 10:00:39 +0000 UTC]
There'll be a time limit and each material will take a different amount of time to apply. While rope will be the strongest, it'll use up the most time to knot. Tape is somewhere in the middle and scarves are the weakest material, but you have enough time to apply them virtually anywhere.
Though the gags will all be the same, that's just a matter of taste.

Yeah.
First it said it couldn't read the file [says it couldn't read a RAR file]. I downloaded the newest java.
But now because of some screw ups. Every time I try to click it it opens a java installer.

I think that I screwed myself.
IE didn't work. Chrome didn't work.
If you're going to post multiple demos maybe I can get it to work.

Cool idea, but you seem to have the chloroform be needed as too much of a necessity, not an option (the red bar goes up way too fast for any thing without it to actually win that part of the game on my system)! I'd like to be able to win the struggle without having to pack it in every time.
Apart from that minor issue, I like the game a lot and look forward to seeing what the full version will have...

Dani1202 In reply to EmeraldDarkKnight [2011-08-13 17:26:29 +0000 UTC]
It's not impossible to win without chloroform on my system. It IS hard, in fact it's very hard. But on the other hand it shouldn't be too easy...Though I might turn down the speed just a tad.
Until I post an update you can use a cheatcode to prevent the escape bar from filling, you can look it up in the readme.

The only problem I saw was the image for what you're using doesn't appear in the icons when you 'subdued' the target..if it weren't for the words, I wouldn't know which was which.
