awesome alien, i could imagine it being a truly alien redesign of the humanoid Vulcans from Star Trek, with one of these pincers on it's tentacles forming a Vulcan salute.

How interesting... Reminds me of the Yithians from H.P. Lovecrafts "The Shadow out of Time" from 1936. May i ask; if you don't mind that is, Is this creature of your devising or is it fan art from a book or some other medium?
Either way sterling work and a very good visual.

It's nice to see aliens that aren't just modified humans or other familiar animals.

reminds me of a Yithian, only a lot cooler. I love the... eye? You definitely mastered the curiosity here.

Hell, I hardly use mine!
You used the tentacles in a very expressive way here...I like the way he's twisting his tentacles together almost nervously, and has that one "hand" (?) open in seeming puzzlement. I really get the sense of alien body language; you did a great job of communicating his confusion and mystification.

Wow, I totally didn't consciously think of that, but now that you mention it, it does look like a gesture of puzzlement...almost a shrug...great observation!

Hey, that's what I'm here for--to point out things people didn't intend in their own art!

Haha this made me life. Biology nerd jokes ftw!
If you don't get it the alien doesn't have any bones and can't figure out what they're used for.

I have to say, even though that thing doesn't really have a face it "looks" pretty surprised.
But maybe that's just anthropomorphism.

Is that by chance an alien that is inspecting human bones long after our extinction?
