Description
Digital, Corel Painter, 2012.Painted this fo an e-book called "The last extinction". You can buy it here:

The piece was separated into several overlapping layers in order to be animated, and had no solid background and therefor it's just empty white space. The biggest challenge was to make those overlaps seamless while maintaining a very high level of detail. Please do zoom in on the face and you'll see the effort I put into the detail. I learned alot on this one.

It's gorgeous O:!
You can see all the work and detail you've put in, even in it's non-zoomed size.
And the overlapping layers work well to 'animate' it, too, which is obviously what you were trying to do, haha.
Really good!!

Thank you! Though you misunderstand, the jaguar was painted and separated in layers within the photoshop-document so that it could be animated in another software. In the book it's moving it's head and blinking.
