Description
Finally after a bunch of failed paintings, I completed one I really really love! :]This is slightly inspired by this LOVELY artwork here: It's a beautiful picture and it made me want to draw jellyfish! :] She has a fantastic gallery by the way, check her out!
Oh btw it's not supposed to be Ariel... I get the hair kinda makes it look like her, but I honestly just painted the orange hair because I thought it looked so pretty against the blues. :]

Impressive. It's obvious your technical skills are well-tuned, so I'd like to focus on the composition. The jellyfish move our eyes upwards and make for a nice frame for the girl. The light at the top also brings us right to the surface, but you have great leading lines that invariably bring us back to the main subject. Our vision gently slides along her flowing tentacles of hair. The wrinkles in her gown lead inward where both her arms and legs point us back up to her face. Speaking of the face, you've imbued her with innocence, but not naivete. Prettiness and experience.
By the way, painting her eyes with the sole source of green (which also happens to be the complement of her red locks) in the picture is a splendid touch.

This is beautifully done! The flowing of the hair and weightless feel is so well depicted! The jelly fish look ethereal and beautiful, the lighting and shading is great an colors are wonderful

Whoa! This is amazing. I love underwater stuff
I especially like the background, you've captured how it looks to be underwater looking up at the surface perfectly. The jellyfish are nice too, the soft colours really make them look transparent.
If you don't mind me saying how you could improve, I think you should add some bubbles in front of her, to make it look as if she's in the water more, and not floating in thin air.

Thank you! I was considering adding more bubbles in front of her, but I couldn't find a good place to put them that wouldn't interfere. Not to say it wouldn't improve of course, I think it would look better with the bubbles. I just couldn't get it right
