When click on apply - "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error !

I have this same error message when the program starts - blank space for the logon screen shown. When I select an image it is shown on the logon screen postion, but when I click apply, the same message apears.

*Reboot: BSOD
*Reboot again: Old Logon Image.
