I would rather have one that would be causing less pain (no apps at all) and more simplified (by choice) for legacy devices, in my opinion. Great concept so far since I've appreciated this.

I think this version would be suitable for Windows RT, but for a desktop/laptop user it would be far too simplified and isolated for day-to-day use. I would prefer something with more workflow and integration, rather than a further de-cluttering of the already-spaced Windows 8/8.1 UI.
