To my shame, I never managed to get my hands on a copy of Darkstalkers... which is a real let down because I always wanted to play Felicia. Sigh.
But the colours look fantastic. I keep coming back to your gallery every now and then, just to ogle.

Awwwh, John! I missed seeing John's work! I'm a sissy when it comes to the eatpoo forums so I hardly venture over there at all. I did find him on livejournal though and he's always got some kind of comic goin on. He still takes a lot of pictures of himself. 
I loved all of these but I think this one is my favorite. The colors are just perfect. You guys make a hell of a colab. I keep getting lost in the blues. Beautiful work, Dan!

I think now I'm able to shift the colors to suit anyone. I can do cellshades, minimal colors, detailed colors, and at times color contrast pieces, though to be honest color contrast I'm not very great at really. But sometimes I like how it comes out.
But in either case, yeah I don't go to the eatpoo boards as much as I should, but I'm doing so now, with those "draw my character threads", I decided to join up more and drawing more. So that's good, you should really do so to, over there as well. you're really getting great with your skills. go ahead.

I would gladly kill to know how you color like that. I'vebeen trying like hell to refine my photoshop work and it's just NOT DOING WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO. o_o I'm not sure what the hell I'm missing skillwise. e.e

keep at for a couple of years. That's all it takes. Time, the more time you put into it the better you'll get, when I started out with it I put out a tone of stuff that I wasn't pleased with, but I just kept doing one picture after another. regardless of how well it turned out, I started to improve, four years at it was when I noticed the major improvement. But people varry in time improved, for you it may take you one year to improve, if you keep at it more then I did. Just keep at it until things improve.
