A little piece that I did on the fly, Faces off. A robot goes to the shop and buys a happy face at 1/2 price. If only being happy was that simple.Related content

I always give credit to whom ever drew something that I colored so if there's no one mentioned in the description then it's me that did the drawing and colors.

I see what you're saying. A smile can be fake sometimes--but it can make the other robots happy. (or at least register it as "happiness")
If he continues to put the face on, then he can conform to its meaning. He is a mechanical creature afterall, which means he is man-made. So his inventor, Doctor Danitron, can give him a FULL upgrade.
This is painted so beautifully. Subtle gradations, with integrated textures into specific areas. I really like the way you painted the mask itself. It feels like a genuine smile.

Gorgeous texture and detail. The contrast is very well observed. I love how the sparks become the lighting for the piece, and how that cord coming out of his head becomes an interesting hair-do. You're one of the best, Dan. Good work.

awesome stuff, as usual. I recommend adding some "noise" to the lettering on the sign. The edges are a little on the too perfect and ultra clean side. A few nicks and scratches here and there, will add to the industrial gritty flavor, that is all kinds of groovy in this pic.
Looks at pic again, yup-- buckets and buckets of awesome.
