Here's a paintoff piece, that I did... for a paint off. I was given 5 days for the piece and in that time I had to do other projects as well. Unfortunately work takes priority over this paint off, so I'm sure you can tell that certain parts of this piece are still very sketchy and un refined.I don't think I'll ever get back to this piece.
This piece was painted in photoshop.
Also on a side note, I picked up a very cool tutorial at eatpoo [link] on how to create clouds like this one. Tutorial by the very cool Cicinimo! Easy to follow and the results are really cool. Try it out. :]

The muted palate works well, it gives an aged patina...like a faded photograph.

wow, it convines a lot of things, the it doesn't have a lot of contrast, that make this landscape something more like a sunset, the wood, the rocks, the water, the light, the clouds, everytning is perfect

Very nice! The castle is neat, and I like how you did the clouds. I tried that tutorial, and despite how simple it made it, failed. Miserably. I see where it's a bit sketchy, but the rest of the painting draws away from it. Well done.
