This is absolutely stunning.... The whole picture seems to pop out at you, the trees, the grass, Zabuza's blade.
The coloring is astounding, that blade looks very very REAL! =O The clothings texture looks so lovely, and the lighting is beautiful.
Heheh, I just now noticed lil Haku dere in the background too.

This is amazing...the detail and color are just beautiful, the highlights simply incredible. I think the actual blade could use more highlight, since looking at it the first thing I see in his hand looks kind of like a shovel, and I have to switch over to seeing the whole sword. Some more detail on his face and expression might also help. I love the way you've made this picture so sunny and included the (presumably melting) snow..it's such a wonderfully created atmosphere.

Incredible work *__* I adore Zabuza, he's only the best Naruto villain ever. Anyway...There is only one thing that could be improved in the image and that's the grass. It's a little too clear that it's a Photoshop brush. Well, the fact that they're small is good, but that particular brush is really overused...I think it'd look great if you did the grass yourself. It might take for-freaking-ever, but it'll look a lot more natural.
By the way, I love the little Haku up in the tree. I'll be faving this when it's done, definitely.

I know some people commented they didnt like the texture on the sword, but I thought it was used really well personally. I also like the texture on the trees, I assume thats all painted which really gives a nice natural feel to it ^_^

Love the texture on those trees and the sword, this is a great exp pic to help me out with my textureing or lack there of loo, anywys the pose is very nice, however the forshorting in the arm is alittle strange. I also wounder how importent that bg character is dod you want him to be seen? Or just to be there for people who look hard to go, hey looky there? And again is that importent because wondering what he's doing up there watching can be more intresting then what the main character is doing.
Brown....theres alot....its very overpowering, I bet addind a few little tiws of groth, coming out on some of those bottom trees might be nice, and also, in the taller ones only the one that character is standing on has a branch on it, perhaps showing a bit more green, and branchs near the top might help out with that over powering brown as well as stoping thos strong virticals from takeing your eyes right out of your lovely image. Try to creat a flow two keep the eyes moveing within the image, and if you do it right you can go from you main character, to the watcher, and fourse/trick the eye into going back down again to the main character.

Shit, WOW, this is amazing. O_O I love the lighting on his pants. The leopardskin needs more shadowing and lighting and I think there should be more inbetween his fingers too, to define them more. Also think there could be more grass poking out of the snow...but wow...really...this is a freaking amazing piece. x3

Just some points (which I hope nobody had talked about yet, I didn't manage to read all comments, sorry if I'm repeating someone.. ^^') I think...not sure, but I think that, even in the perspective, the sword is not as large as Zabuza's...it's greatly done, but I think it should be bigger, aand that the blade's edge should be turned following the right hand (which should be higher than the left one on the grip, but maybe I'm being just too picky here, since you'd have to flip the whole pic... ^^').
I also think that the pic, although the breathtaking colouring, is a bit oversaturated...but this is just my opinion (I tend to like more real0like pics, when they're not painted in a cell shading style), so, please don't mind it. ^^'
Despite these details, the composition is really Danimation Brand, amazing!
Loved the background - and the detail on it (a pity I read Naruto for a long time now, and don't remember the name of Zabuza's companion... ^^')
When finished, it certainly will be +Faved! Undoubtfully!

I don't like the character colors, THAT much compared to the rest. Also the bg textures of the leaves kinda bug me. Maybe they are too sharp or something, dunno. I like the idea with the shadow of the guy in the bg
The reflecting blue in the shadow seems kinda strange, where is it coming from ? I mean normal there has to be blue sky or something that reflects in the shadows to get them that blue (or am I wrong?), but the sky in the bg doesn't look that blue.
The pencils are cool, much better than anything I could do! The foreshortening of his left hand looks a bit off, but I'm not good in pencilling, so this might be only me. The outlines could be stronger in some areas and maybe work over the sword-texture, it looks a bit cheap.
whew sorry for being so nitpicky, it is of course a great piece of art. My fav. parts are definatley the trees!

*sigh* naruto was just never the same after he died...
Your shadows are amazing! Easy favorite! I do however think that his face looks a tad... squashed. His chin blends in with the neck because they are both wrapped, so it took me a while to figure out why it looked funny, but I definitely think that his jawline is too close, his face could be a bit longer.
Still Awesome though!

This is really good, I like all the textures especially on the blade, and the trees are perfect. Some people color, others render, but truly, you paint...I don't know what it is that makes your work stand out so, but it does and I like it. However...I am a bit bothered by the grass. It's rendered in a very realistic manner...perhaps too realistic. It doesn't look like it was done in the same manner as the rest of the image...and looks a little fake to me. The rendering on the forearms and shins of the character also looks a little odd, lacking depth and again appearing to be done in an entirely different style than the rest of the pic. I don't presume to tell you how to color, I'm just calling it like I see it, so I hope I'm not being rude or offensive.
