well, maybe he would have rather responded himself? i know i wouldnt want anyone answering for me. but i've never heard of the character before. if he's structured anything like the fatal fury or street fighter characters then yeah, he'll be all legs.

Wowwww. No critiques on the coloring. I think the proportions are off on his body, though I am not the best expert at foreshortening or male anatomy. I think his legs might be a bit too long, and I think his left hand/arm has some issues with the foreshortening. I think that fist may be too small since it is supposed to be closer to the viewer. Otherwise it's awesome. Even as is it's awesome.

the shading on the pants is really jawdropping too bad the blade isn't as sexy coloured as you usually colour metal objects.

This is sooooo coool! I really like Zabusa and Haku. I very much like how you placed Haku in the background. Very cool concept and i definitely see this as a poster
One thing though, it might just be me but just a suggestion, you think it would be possible to add more trees behind the trees and make them further back so that it would feel more like a deep forest? I dunno, it just seems like they're at the edge/end of the forest.

hehe, that dude standing in the tree is cool. the leopard style thingees on his arms and legs...i supposed you gonna render them a little beta? heh. otherwise it's pretty cool. perhaps blur the background a little and add some mist to give a great sense of depth. that would make it so much more dynamic...an' it would just hit ya, ya know?

That is awesome, very well done. I like Zabuza's Pose, and the detail of the tree's is great. I also like how you stuck haku in the back there. Yeah, and i noticed your sig in the grass... at least i think its your sig

This looks really warm
I like the pose very much, quite warrior like and Zab looks great too. I like the addition of the snow and Zab's boots have a weird but good looking texture too. The sword looks fantastic, especially the hole near the tip.
I just have a small gripe about the vertical strips of his, um, pants, but it is minor and negligible anyway. Great work

looks very good thus far, nice little touch with the (I'm guessing it's Haku) shadowy figure in the treetops, I do think that the blade of the sword, taking in the foreshortening even, compared to the handle seems a bit short

yeah, after I posted I saw you had replied to that in an earlier comment and at the risk of bleeding off the page it's best not to extend the blade itself....also shortening the handle could work but with moving arms and everything that too seems like an awful amount of editing

Them's some mighty big trees.
I was about to say that his lower legs still need some work when I read that this isn't done yet... the only thing I found kind of weird was the way that big tree on the left is shaded, it makes it look like it's slightly tipping forward.
Other than that: A-class.

fantastic work dude... only things i can see would be: grass is too flat tonally... the fallen tree could have some highlights on the bark at the top (where the lights shining) adn the boots arent finished obviously but otherwise a great pieve of work ;D keep it up

Holy crap, this is beautiful! I epecially love the background!!! I love the use of highlights and shadows. The only problem I have with it is that his pants look a bit wonky. The folds at the right knee are a little over done and on his left leg, it just looks wavy. I can't really explain what I mean. I wouldn't have really noticed it except that it says you really want critique, so I studied the pic. ^^
But I totally love this peice and am now off to look at the rest of your gallery. YAY!
