Description
I started a dragon clutching onto the stone, but it isn't finished yet, so there may be another version if it turns out okay. I really like the simple stone against the green as well though.RESOURCES

Good job, the blending is excellent, and the light works really well - I especially like the haze in the background, brings the rock forward big time.
It only concerns me that the light seems to fall from the left hand side on the stump on the right, but perhaps I am mistaken - and it is only visible after studying the photo really hard. I guess I wanted to find something to nitpick on, as everything looks flawless
Great work!

Thanks so much for taking a look and for the critique! I will fiddle with the stump for the second version and see if it looks better to your eyes that way, though I can't promise when that will be done. I've taken a bit of a hiatus from visual art to work on writing.

Yep, I've seen that from your journal. Good luck - writing can be even more precise and creative than drawing or photographing.

It looks like something in a game where if I found it, I'd become more powerful somehow.
Very special looking and moody. Subtle brilliance, again.

Thanks so much It's wonderful to get insightful comments.
I've been working on a second version with a dragon clinging onto the stone. I had some issues with Photoshop though and became frustrated, so I haven't finished it yet.

Considering what a simple picture this is, I'm surprised it has been as popular as it has. Thanks so much for the comment and

Often the simplest images are the nicest. If the work on it had been mediocre it would not have this good result.
So yeah even though you think it is simple the work you put into it made it very good.

I like it as is! This way we get to supply our own context and story. (Not that I have anything against dragons )

Really awesome work. The statue amidst all the green of the forest is a good contrast.
