Description
Okies, I know this is kinda bad. But it's done for my friend since she said her drawings look shaky. (Well, she was using Pen tool, so how could it not?IMPORTANT NOTE: To all of you with a previous version of Photoshop, if you can't find that one icon you can get the big wide brush modification box by going to "Window/Brushes"
X_X I just noticed how manny errors I made in Grammar and Spelling on this peice of crap, ah well. That's what I get for doing tutorials at 1 in the morning.

I have the same probably has Hope50, though when I set all the settings to the one you have on your tutorial, it still won't allow me to have that variation like on lesson 3

Usually tablets have their own control panel, so go to Control Panel/Hardware/Pen devices or something like that, poke around and try to see if you can enable pen pressure. It's sometimes turned off for some reason.

If you want to be able to use pen pressure you have to also check "other dynamics" and then drag the minimum diameter down to zero. Hope that helps.

No problem, your art is great. I'm glad it's helping a couple of people, since it's the noobiest attempt at a tut EVER.

thanks ! I love your geisha fish it's quite a good attempt of illustration!
What kind of tablet do you have? Mine is a wacom graphire 3 a6 it's very small ! what bugs me though is the small number of pressure levels! When I draw it makes no difference ! the thickness of my lines is the same!!! I don't know what to do about it!

Mine's a Genius MousePen 6x8 I think, and it's getting a bit strange, it sometimes gets stuck when I'm pressing menus, then I have to shake it and press again lol. Otherwise it's pretty good.
Hm, this might have something to do with the tablet quality, are you sure that you've checked "Other Dynamics" and in the box under opacity jitter set it to "Pen Pressure"? Also try pulling the little arrow thing on the Opacity jitter down all the way to the right.
I hope that helps, otherwise I really don't know what to tell you.

To think, i tried out the brush settings, and I have never seen it as you see it using a tablet (I just bought one recently xD) but i do hope I grow to love drawing directly on it, instead of the usual draw then scan method i normally use. THX again for the wonderful info~

NP, I'm glad that this crap helps someone.
Scanning + then coloring can be nice, but sometimes it's just plain easier to do it from scratch in PS.
