A very, very basic tutorial on using the pen tool for paths, which can then later be used to ink artwork. I made this for a friend, so it's just a quick beginner's reference, nothing too complex. But I will say, I could have really used this, when most inking tutorials do assume adequate knowledge of the pen tool and stroking paths.Related content

Interesting. I just did a tutorial on the pentool and I never thought of changing the dynamic like that. I'll have to try it out later.

... is there a way to make the fill path so it fills .. without the white thingy .. as in it goes after the other path ... ?

ah, kinda figured out .. ... i don't mean i had a problem with it .. but it's basically just to go alittle further on the path and it'll fill the whole black .. nevermind anyway

Cool! I'll look at it later. I did a pen tutorial that included making a vector for class but I can't say I understood the point lol.
