Description
This was an unfinished project last year not long after i got my hands first time on XSI3.0The bot was created using splines instead of polygons from a simple object. I used procedural textures with reflection map from a bitmap. It was rendered using mental ray tracer (i luv it) without global illumination to minimize the rendering time.
Recently i added noise effect on the mask in photoshop to give it more seamless bumped metallic surface. Its a quite big pic so beware.

I love the metallic look of the skull and the glowing red eyes are the best part of it. Im not sure i agree with the noise filter, it does make the black plastic(?) part look very realistic and good looking, but doesn't quite fit into the metal surface i think...

Love the color since you'd usually expect this to be a blue/gray metal color. The reflections look awesome. This is like something straight out of a Terminator movie. Nice work!

Interpretation/Review: Looks like a trophy of an enemy's head, a robotic one or vise versa. The reflection is very realistic, it has a nice color with the red eye to spice it up. The designs of it is very anew and hot where if I were a motocyclist I would get one for sure, does it provide the safety features? Hehe.
Pros/Cons/Suggestions: Like the coor, the design is slick and clean. Love the red eyes and the shape of it. Good work.
