I get how Jackalman is renamed Kaynar, as it sounds like canine. But Monkian as Addicus... is something in Addicus monkey or ape related?

I REALLY like the scenes with Addicus using his feet to hold his weapon. Makes him seem more like an actual ape instead of a large hairy man and gives him something unique.
