Description
I was thinking it would be interesting to see batman as a vampire like character as opposed to always seeing him a a brick. I think this build makes him a bit more cerebral compared to Superman. I also wanted to do something different with his ears. There was just something fun about the slight curve that appeals to me.Related content

Yeah, I too prefer the slimmer and more Gothic Batman than the armoured brick look.

Ya know I remember Trevor Von Eedden works from the 80's having a similar feel to this.
Lean tall and gaunt looking. Especially by the 1982 annual.
Nice work.

I like this version of him. It'd be very interesting in fighting situations. I can seem him relying even more to stay in the shadows. I like the "vampire" approach you gave.

Best Batman design I've seen - very nice work!
I've always felt he should look more lithe and cunning, like this, rather than like a giant lump of meat.

For some reason, the look you are playing with is reminiscent of Kelly Jones run on Batman. I like it!

This actually suits him in a weird way. I would kind of make sense for him to go for a toned defined look instead of the bulky look he usually has. He could still be stupid strong like he is now but this type of build would let him b more stealthy. And you can't tell me that someone that looks like this coming at you in an ally in the middle of the night wouldn't scar the living shit out of you.

This is AWESOME! I would watch this as a design in an animated series in a heartbeat! I totally picture him moving very fluidly and almost flowing from shadow to shadow. Spike Speigel/Cowboy Bebop style or something! Love it!

the curved ears conform better to the natural curves found in the human body.

I like the long, lean look; he used to be a lot wirier in the Bronze Age, under the pens of Adams, Giordano, Frank Robbins and, of course, the great Jim Aparo. This is a very ominous look that, yes, better befits both the agile detective the the stories DESCRIBE, and the gaunt night creature that he emulates.

Batman is my ultimate superhero. And this captures him exactly how I would imagine him in my mind, strong yet very sleek. agile, fast and mobile.. (unlkie all of the recent incarnations of him we have seen lately where he is the size of a tank) haha
well done Dan, I hope we see this version on tv one day, I think we would all be very happy

MY GOD A NOVEL CONCEPT!
Seriously. Why is it that Batman always as buff as Superman, considering that Bats arsenal is more stealthy and acrobatic.
Great work Dan! Keep it Up!

Dan , I really like your design. I also like your approach to his physique; there's a litheness that has to be there for him to be as acrobatic as he is. When I look back at definitive art like Neal Adams' version of him, he's like a manta ray, full of movement.
The more recent incarnations make him super bulky; I find it neither appealing or clever.
I like your take (and the curved ears make the suit). Run with it.

I quite like this version of batman Makes him more rogue-like which is more fitting for his nighttime preferences
I can see him crouched like a gargoyle like this
Any bigger and it might not look so comfy

Interesting take on the Caped Crusader. It's kinda weird for me to see him this thin but I understand why you did it. Great work!
