My worst fear realized. Actually, I guess I have worse fears than this. Honey badgers are pretty scary, what with being both a badger AND an internet meme.But whatever. Inspired by Michael Bay plotting to make the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aliens. That means a species of humanoid turtles. With female turtles. Designed by Michael Bay.
Be afraid.
Be very afraid.
Unless you like this sort of thing. Then you need only fear the honey badgers.

Okay, yes, Bay making the TMNT aliens kinda gets rid of the M and makes things...horrible

That can't be based on Bay's work. It's recognizable as a humanoid shape. And it's head isn't fire wrapped in a bandanna. And it isn't making a rap song out of fart noises.
No, the Shive version is much better. She seems a little spacy but that's just from the lack of oxygen. As a figure she looks like a barbie doll.

He was quoted as having saying it and the creator of the ninja turtles weighed in on it, so I think that in and of itself is a rumor.

lol, you just added on to my fears. I cringed when I heard that he was doing the turtle's movie and that statement followed he was going to make them aliens. I'm sure the special effects will be great but the movie will probably follow Casey and April will be reduced to a screaming supermodel as the world is invaded by aliens.

I've been wondering for a while having not heard it directly, but what were Michael Bay's exact words? According to the original comics, the ooze that mutated the turtles was of ALIEN origin. Is it at all possible that Bay was merely referring to this?
