Download for 1024x768 size.Before anybody praises me for my awesome Peter Griffin drawing skills, this is SUCH a trace of a screenshot from the show. The reason I'm uploading it with pride, however, is that I both traced and colored the image in Illustrator (though I suspect the colors I used were darker than they should've been).
The thing about me and coloring in Illustrator is that I am SO not used to the mentality of it. I'm used to you drawing all the lines, then color between them. That's how coloring works. You learn that in preschool, for crying out loud.
Not so in Illustrator. If you try to just do all the outlines and color it in, you might be able to pull it off with live paint, but don't count on it. No, to effectively color in Illustrator, you have to think in terms of color groupings. I have trouble explaining this, but that's what the next deviation will be for.

oooooo Illustrator? i use inkscape, it's not as cumbersome as illustrator though i shouldnt be saying anything as ive never used illustrator, but i believe it's cumbersome than inkscape, you should check out some of my vectors.

Toooooootally know what you mean. I hardly ever use LiveTrace/paint, though. They're generally too large for what I'm doing (LiveTrace + photograph = ZOMG ANCHOR POINTS).

Dan, relax I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this picture and a screenshot. The colors are great.

I like it, though I think it could be better than it is. As is the most common criticism, I think they could have more plot-driven jokes. HOWEVER, it is a show with lots of really good voices, fast humor, and I am happy whenever there is singing on the show (particularly Stewie and Brian duets).

Me too! I usually don't like the show, though. Too many shots at Meg and stuff like that. But on the right day I'll love it.

Yeah, the shots at Meg are too much. I don't mind her having a hard time, as it's her character to have the struggle of adolescence, but it goes too far and fails to be funny. Well, to me, anyway.
