Description Each plane begins with a prototype.
Note the slight differences between XF-19 prototype and YF-19 pre-production plane, on jet intakes, rudders and stabilizers.

Chaque avion débute par un prototype.
Notez les différences entre le prototype XF-19 et l'appareil de pré-série YF-19, au niveau des entées de réacteurs, de l'empennage et des quilles stabilisatrices.

This is a very strange plane, but nice overview of it.

From all of the CG plane projects, this is by far, the best!!!

Why two Vulcans?
If you cant's hit with six barrels, you'll miss with twelve too

Just to be sure
In fact, the original P-38 got 5 nose guns... and only one here seemed a little bit... poor

Still, with 5 nose guns, the P-38 still had one gun less than the P-51D's six, and three less than the P-47's eight.

In fact, four .50 guns and one .79 canon.
And because of his twin counter-rotating engines, it was considered as a really stable firing platform. Anyway, it was not the best dogfighter but it was better for health not stay in front of it

I'd always heard of it having a 20mm cannon... ohhh I see what you did there.

But yeah, I love the P-38, and its variants. It wasn't for nothing that the Germans called it the "Fork-Tailed Devil". Couldn't turn so hot, but few things could get away from it.

Only negative thoughts I have on this design are related to the wings. It looks like it has about the same wingspan as the F-22, but with a big chunk missing in the middle. I'd make the wingspan greater to make up for it. Also, I don't like how the horizontal stabilizier is straight in the middle. Not sure how I'd fix it, maybe give it a bit of an arrowhead or something?

.79in or 20mm… it's the same

For the wings, it's a little bit like the P-38: the surfaces between the center fuselage and the twin-booms may also have some lift effect… hem… I hope so because I'm not engineer and never calculated it
It's certainly not realistic. This hole in the middle of the plane would surely produce some undesirable turbulences.

As I said, all this is only for fun

Snazzy paint scheme man, much like what the proto F-16 had.
