Just another tribute piece to Nintendo Power on it's 24 year run (and being the very first video game publication). I included the original cover alongside my tribute piece. I touched up the original just a tad (removed aging torn edges etc). Anyhow, please share and enjoy!Related content

I really love how you show your version of the cover alongside NP's. It's a great tribute and despite having never played any of the Metroid games, I know the basic premises. Your Samus looks fantastic and your editing on the NP's cover makes it look brand new! Wonderful job!

Don't we all! Admittedly, I haven't played Nintendo in quite some time but, the news got me motivated to do these (and to dig my NES out from the void) I remember checking the mailbox everyday for these. All my friends and I would gather around as we speculated what games would come out and use the guides to get through hard portions of the games we were stuck on.
