Description “Are you sure you should be moving?” Link asked Emma, not even turning around.
“Are you sure you should be standing so close to the edge like that?” She countered.
“We defeated that Phantom Ganon,” Link responded. “So, yeah, it’s fine.”
Emma sighed. “More like YOU defeated him … it? Him? Whatever . . . ” She gingerly twisted her waist, taking care not to move too quickly. She was well aware of how and why she had gotten injured during the battle against the Scourge Of Korok Forest - those Gloom Hands had not wanted to let her go, even after Link had shown up to do battle against Phantom Ganon. The Gloom Hands had been connected to the main foe and needed to be taken care of at the same time. The Gloom Hands had persisted to hold onto Emma - disallowing Link to use a stronger, more wide-spread attack - until she had finally had enough, and thrown a Bomb Flower basically right there at her feet, weakening the foe and injuring herself in the process. Link had swiftly defeated the Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon, and then taken Emma straight to the Koroks, who had all gone back to normal along with the rest of their forest, and Emma had been living on Sunny Cream Of Mushroom Soup for the past week.
“Mushrooms for Mr. Hero and Miss. Heroine!” Natie had proclaimed.
“How come I’m ‘Miss.’ but Zelda’s ‘Ms.’?” Emma had grumbled. She had taken a big bite of some Sundelion. “Maybe I look younger than my little sister?” She had suddenly wondered, somewhat brightly.
“I wouldn’t say that to the Princess if I were you, Mr. Hero.” Daz had whispered to Link. “But, I’m glad that the Duchess is happy, again!”
Link now watched as Emma stopped to pray to the Goddess Statue, glad that she could walk again. He was worried about how she was going to react the next time that they encountered a Phantom Ganon, but, he decided to cross that bridge when they came to it.
For now, they were both just glad that Korok Forest and all of its occupants were back to normal . . .
