Words cannot express how much i love this film and Megamind himself (yea ive had a crush on him since i was 10, FIGHT ME). it's truly an underrated badass masterpiece. Glad I got to grow up with it cause i love it even more as an adult. Plus it helped shape my taste in music considering how many rock songs there are in it. Many overused rock songs, but this movie just makes them fucking WORK.

Been watching it over and over again the last week. It's just one of those films I never get tired of. Everything in this movie is just so good, especially the soundtrack done by Hans Zimmer and the sound effects.

So yea I had to paint Megamind in a more "realistic way". I loved how it was turning out, now that it's finished, im not so sure….. 😩

I didnt find much fanart that was actually good of him so i had to do one myself. Luckily it's getting more popular so i hope to see more shiz of this movie.Β

Yep. Since Megamind was the so called bad guy, the usual actual villain of the story would turn out to be the "hero". But in this case it techincally wasnt lmao. Metro is kind of a selfish dick, but he wasnt a bad guy for wanting to have a normal life and retire from hero work. They took a sledgehammer to the typical nerdy dude gets superpowers and gets the girl of his dreams trope and demolished it as well, and turned Hal into being the villain instead. Im nerding out i know

Hey if you can have millions of fucking star wars films, tv shows and other things then i can have a second megamind. People believe the sequels are always bad which isnt true. There are a lot of sequels that are good.
