The color palette is harmonious and subdued, creating a sense of a bright, warm, early summer morning. There are some that try too hard to make the color pop by oversaturating it, but this is both artful and natural.
Good composition with a strong focal point and a sense of movement--both in the overall composition and with the implied movement of the bee to the flower, as well. The shift from light to dark also helps in this regard.
The bee has sufficient detail, without reading as false or manipulated--but it also has that slight blur that speaks to us as to its movement.
Overall the photo speaks about the both the beauty and the industry of nature and I find it easy to put myself into the "mind" of the bee as it seeks its goal. Well done.

Wonderful image. The soft subdued nature of this Photograph takes you into a dream land. The fact that you chose to use a short field of vision adds to the feel of this piece. the two obvious figures don't try to outdo each other, they seem to carry the same amount strength even with the difference in size between the two.
I would like to know the amount of time you had to sit there waiting for this shot, or was it a lucky day for you.
I have tried to shoot a picture like this but I don't have the patients required to capture the bee.

I really love this piece! The lighting is beautiful and the filter to make the light softer really works.
What I find odd is the boarder around the picture. For me it makes it takes away the beauty to add a deep dark background that I believe does not need. The natural dark area in the picture, but the black box around the picture that kind of throws me off and doesn't seem to work.
Overall this is really beautiful! You certainly captured the busy bee life in a simplistic picture. You also created an atmosphere for it by keeping the picture focused on it's main goal. I personally like this piece. Well done!

The colors, lets start there. The pallet is rather small, but this is very effective, with all the hues of pink and gold and yellows and reds and purples and oh my, it's not small after all. It's just stunning, truly inspiring. You caught a rare piece of nature in a photograph, one of the hardest things to do. The bee is in motion, showing that it won't stop, it WILL get to the flower. This piece brought tears of joy to my eyes. My keyboards all soggy now. The blurred background helps maintain that serene feeling, whilst still drawing attention back to the flower and the bee. I love this. A definite favorite.

I absolutely love it. I think it shows off the flower, the nature of the bee as well as nature itself. It looks so serene like nothing could disturb the peace. I think the fact that the bee is slightly blurred, only adds to beauty of the photograph. As the bee is in flight and on journey to collect its nectar. If the photograph was completely clear it would not have the same effect as it does now. Especially since the bee looks calm but determined, as nature is because it can't be stopped only observed, investigated and shown through art. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

I love this. It embraces so much. From predestined instinctual traits. To the loveliness of nature. It embodies calm and drive all at once.
I like the flower more in focus than the bee. It shows sanctuary and survival. What we "bees" all seek. The nectar of life. This speaks poetry to me.
The perfection of the flower illuminates this picture.
I'm not a huge photographer but regardless it speaks to me. The bee out of focus is telling me that the bee could be anything...or anyone. Another day, another flower. The shadowing of the flower is beautiful. Simple beautiful.

A great image from the a honey bee's perspective. The antennae, legs and stopped wings are fairly clear and are at an angle that seems balanced in the photograph and give an aeronautical reality to the bee's journey to and fro. Soft, blossomy textures, tones and colours abound and the magenta 'colour cast' hints at a hazy summer, evocative of light from above, through petals and adds to the 'thu the bee's eyes' effect. The background is enticing and reminds one of dew, but it could be a little better, at least around the bee's righthand body half where it interacts or clutters too much. Wonderful stuff and refreshing to see a careful image with retro-colours that is at a higher resolution than most churned out by Androids and iPhones. The black border is interesting, but may detract from the image. A permanent feature?

photos are now considered an art form, to capture truth, beauty, and life that surrounds us! ive got to say this imaculate piece certainly shows the beauty and essence of life!
firstly, the colours are well contrasted, the whites and yellows, it gives a sense of warmth to the picture, like it makes me feel comfortable and warm inside! the vision is incredible, how simply a bee and a flower can genuinely look so wonderful! this artist has shown the simplicity of how the vision looks and the reception it gives to the audience! also i love the sunlight ray on the flower which contrasts well the dark colours of the bee!
overall this artist has certainly captured the essence of beauty which surrounds us everywhere and how we should not take advantage of it!
a wonderful and warming piece! well done!!!!

Since you have taken notice of my literature. It's only fair for me to check out your gallery! And I absolutely love it! IAt the moment I only have 16 chapters. My story is almost complete with one more chapter to write. I don't know if I will write it today because of a frustrating cold. Although, I will try to post all my past chapters.
Keep up the good work! c:
