I have just thought about something like a motion gloves - however you move your hands/arms/legs/whatevah, the 'stromo moves the same...

Yeah!
Motion capture frame. Following every single gesture or limb movement of the pilot.
Imagine fist fighting in a 60 ton battlemech.
Nostromo might even be able to do it.

At least seems a bit more reasonable than the orignal Mechwarrior world's dual joystick and rudder pedal system.
These machines are not turreted tanks, please!!!
